Dear Leona, I am now a Private in the U.S. Army. I was in since Wed. That is when I was sworn. I went to Columbus then they sent us here. Fort Benjama Harrison Ind. I will be leaving this place pretty soon. I don't know what I am in yet. I will probably find out at my next station. Army life is sure funny from civilian life. The boys that I've met so far are all pretty nice. I will write when I get to my next station. Pvt. Geo Pumpa
