Italian-American, 1945
Description
An account of the resource
Paper of American Red Cross. 6 pages. In hospital, nice and clean. Arrived by plane and reminded him of his trips to Bellaire to see her. Trouble with feet but not serious. Arrived from Germany, “it certainly is great to be away from that darn country.” Love her. Not lost his ambitions to be somebody, “if I ever get out of this mess than nothing will stop me.” War must be over soon. Heard two beautiful songs, “Maria Elena”, “Dream of you”. “Well baby or babies Ha Ha”. Hope to be home for his birthday. Stomach X-ray. There was no envelope, but Danny mentions to be in England.
