Subject
Italian-American, 1943
Description
(Envelope missing) Danny asks Leona how she's doing and tells her that he'll be working a cooking shift on the night of the big Christmas dinner. He tells her about his new friend Robert Ianarelli who just got married and starts writing about how much he's been thinking about finally getting married to her. He wants to live with her and take the opportunity while they can. He says that in 20 days part of Leona's dream will come true. He also mentions that he is jealous of her going out and worried that she'll fall in love with Bucci. He says he has written Bucci a couple of times, but that Bucci hasn't written him back. In a post-script, Danny tells Leona that he's sending her a book to read in her spare time that he thought was good.
