Description

She worked the night before and her mom fixed her breakfast so she could write to him. Last night, she saw Gilda, Nina and Jean. Jean is as snooty as ever and she has gotten worse. She received his suitcase yesterday and laid his hat on the table. She hopes he doesn't have to go overseas. There was a fire in the mine, 66 miners are trapped, but one one they know. She has a doctor's visit scheduled for next week. She asked him if he had gone to the doctor. They haven't heard from Johnnie, who is overseas and her mum caught her dad crying. She hopes he doesn't have to go overseas.
