Description
Danny writes on his day off. The temperature is 109. Men fainted while marching. They are planning a beer party in the barracks. The men are required to watch movies about sex again. He responds to Leona's questions and conversations about the local news, guessing that Jean is planning a wedding soon. Danny's friends think the world of Leona since she writes every day and sends packages He heard a sweet song "You'll never know how much I love you." He tells her the training is getting pretty hard. Regarding the sale of his family's home, his mother wants him to pick the area of the new home but he defers to Leona.He wants to send his brother a suit for his birthday but he is broke. He plans to sign up for the Air Corps after training.
