Description
Geo congratulates Leona on getting the ring and tells her he thought she wouldn't be writing anymore since she was going to get married. He tells her that he went back home and that if "felt funny to be with all civilians again." He is reminiscing about old times with his "old gang." Geo talk about "going across" with some of his buddies to "get this thing over with." He tells Leona that he might have to go to Fort Wayne before crossing, but that he isn't sure. He says that the town he is in is too small for all the soldiers there are and that there is nothing to do in it.
