Description

Danny is ashamed for not writing everyday. He has been promoted to first cook. He just cleaned 90 chickens. He begs her to say that they will be married when he is home on furlough. It occurs to him that he never phrased it as the question "Will you marry me?". He closes the letter leaving that thought on Leona's mind.
