There is a black and white photo of her dog, Tippie, enclosed with this letter. Johnnie is home on furlough and the house is full. Leona says that she is blushing as she explains to Danny that she is moody and it may be because she should be having her period. She mentions that she received her pay, $63.80 and that her taxes have decreased now that she is married. But, the best part of being married is being married to him.
