My darling wife, Hello darling, I've got an hour before the truck leaves for the fields. Honey I mean to write as often as I can and I'm sorry I don't write as often as I should. Well honey I'm going back to Texas, Camp Maxey. I was worried that I might go overseas. I went to church to pray that I our baby. Gee honey so happy that you liked the black bag made it with my hands. I'm sorry I didn't go the U.S.O to take the picture. I guess you can quit your job after the bay is born. Have you asked Mary Belardo about baptizing the baby and have you picked a girl's name, since I picked the boy's name - how about Donita. Don't forget the olive oil on the stretch marks. To pay the doctor's and hospital's bill go through the Board of Health. I will answer to your six letters. I have not had time since I took the mess sargent's job.
