Description

IX. Sloth
Michelangelo's Chapel of the Medici offers repose to Peggy Guggenheim and Leo Castelli, as they, supine, soak up the energy of Kandyskin-Shiva's cosmic dance.
Kandyskin, volatile as flame, dances away from the trophies in the vaults, on the notes of Saint-SaƩns Dance of the Fossils.

Pigrichious poor in spirit
procure pearls of poetry and paint,
buying dearly what is not for sale
to dry-brow Dons and Donnas.

Kandyskin,
volatile as flame,
dances by the trophies in the vaults.
(transcription of the text in the painting)
