Subject
Italian-American, 1943
Description
Danny tells her he really only has time to write on Sundays so she'll be getting his mail all at once. He tells her he has four of her letters to answer and doesn't know where to begin. He thanks Leona for sending him a magazine and tells her he will read anything she wants him to read. He says that there will be a fifteen day break and that he will have eleven days for them to be together. He says during that time they will make love and he will remember those days as the happiest days of his life. He tells her that he is very happy to know that she is getting to know her way around his house and that she feels at home there. He says goodbye so that he can make it to the 9:30 mass.
