Subject

Description

Received Danny's letter of the 18th and 19th from England. She would feel relieved if he would share when and what is his next move. Mimi and Johnnie are in Germany. She sent Mimi their baby's picture and he shared it with a girl in Belgium, telling her it was his baby. She is glad to hear that Larry and Jean wrote to him. Leona resents that some people in Detroit are living a good life while Danny is serving the country. Emilio sent her five dollars for Easter. Bob came home, looking for a job because California is full of shady jobs even if one works for the Department of Defense. Leona will tell him in her next letter about the baby's weight. She will tell him that he drinks a bottle of orange juice and drinks water from a glass. The baby likes all foods, makes funny faces. He loves Julio. She was glad to hear he met an Italian boy. She is enclosing a palm in this letter. The mailman knows how anxious she is about receiving his letters. Leona mentions that Danny was in the hospital.
